As you are aware, we recently gave notice of the cancellation of our upcoming Turn the Radio Up! performance on June 21. The last few weeks have been very difficult for the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus as we work through the implications of this cancellation on our overall operation
You are probably aware that PGMC is a fiscally lean organization, so you can only begin to imagine the serious impact this cancellation will have on our overall financial health. One of the best ways you can assist PGMC right now is to donate the value of your ticket(s) to the Chorus. Choosing to donate your ticket value is something you can do to help the Chorus sustain itself through this difficult time, and will allow us to continue planning a future filled with the music you have come to expect and love. Would you please consider this as your first choice to help our nonprofit arts organization?
We acknowledge that everyone’s situation is different and, in light of the cancellation, PGMC wants to offer you options to consider regarding your current tickets to Turn the Radio Up! To expedite your request, please follow the link below to ensure that we best accommodate your needs. Please allow up to 21 days for our staff and volunteers to process your request.
During these unprecedented times, please remember we have a very small staff, so your patience is greatly appreciated.
Current Ticket holder options:
- DONATE MY TICKET: Convert my ticket purchase to a tax-deductible donation to the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus and send me a receipt of my donation. Please know that your tax-deductible donation will help sustain PGMC through this difficult time, providing us with the opportunity to continue creating the music that you love.
- KEEP THE VALUE OF MY TICKETS IN A PGMC ACCOUNT: The value of your ticket will be a “Stored Credit” and may be used towards a PGMC performance next season. If you choose this option, please be patient as our staff navigates the processes needed to meet our patrons’ needs/requests. You will receive additional information in September, as our 41st season begins, with instructions on how to use your credit. The credit will expire on December 31, 2020, and any unused credit will be converted to a tax-deductible donation.
- Ticket holders that are in need of a refund at this time can contact Terrill directly at boxoffice@pdxgmc.org or 503/226.2588.
Please use our Ticket Request Form to let us know your preferences.
