Becoming a Volunteer with the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus is a great way to get involved, make friends, become part of our community, support the Chorus mission and to make a difference.
Most of our volunteer opportunities are at concerts & chorus-sponsored events which include Will Call/Box Office, Greeters, Sales, Singer & Volunteer Recruitment, Marketing, etc. We also have project based volunteers for mailings & database entry in our downtown office and other periodic volunteer needs. Please sign up below & you will be added to our Volunteer Opportunities Email List. The Volunteer Coordinator will contact you about 2-4 weeks in advance of upcoming opportunities. If there are a variety of roles or times available, you will be asked to complete a short survey to let us know of your preferences. Our public events rely heavily on volunteers and we so appreciate your assisting PGMC with these needed roles.

– Current dues are $225/season or $75/term or $18.75/month or a “pay what you can” option!
And best of all, you become connected to & part of a 45 year old 2SLGBTQIA+ non-profit community that “aspires to expand, redefine, and perfect the choral art through eclectic performances that honor and uplift our community and affirm the worth of all people.” You don’t have to be from Portland, you don’t have to be gay, you don’t have to be a man! All are welcome in the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus!
